Paul Musa has worked for a number of work based learning training providers for over 25 years. He is currently the Chief Executive of North West Training Council. A training provider based on Merseyside, specialising in the recruitment, training and monitoring of apprentices, a position he took over in January 2008.
NWTC is a training organisation, that combine high quality training provision with the consultancy and audit services needed to help organisations identify their training needs and can demonstrate to organisations measurable returns on their investment.
NWTC was founded in 1963 to address the need for apprentice training and has grown to become one of the largest private sector training organisations, with an unrivalled reputation for the quality of training and related consultancy. Their vision for enterprise has helped them forge strong links with industry and commerce which has become one of the main reasons for the good relationships they enjoy with their customers.
Paul has helped to increase the number of apprentices monitored by North West Training Council from 650 to 850 in just two years. He has brought together a team of professionals committed to engaging with their customers with an enthusiasm to quality and performance, all geared to meet their customer’s needs. This increase in apprentice recruitment has mainly been due to working in partnership with their customer base which is made up from Engineering and Construction organisations in the North West of England and North Wales.
Paul has worked with a number of small, medium and large companies to help them expand the skills of their current workforce and helped with the recruitment of apprentices in strategic areas, which can be measured in the new business they have secured and existing business they have retained, and lowering their running costs. In a time of uncertainty we are currently experiencing, a position not too many organisations are enjoying.
