bksb is a complete suite of screening, initial & diagnostic assessment tools with precisely-linked learning resources for basic, key and functional skills.

Currently over 1500 organisations in the UK have integrated bksb into their learning strategies.  In addition, the products are now used across Australia and New Zealand and are receiving high levels of interest from many other parts of the world.  They are also endorsed by awarding body NOCN.

The current range includes an interactive Initial Assessment to ascertain the level a learner is currently working at in English and mathematics – this identifies from Pre-Entry to Level 3.  The learner then sits a Diagnostic Assessment at the level identified and receives an Individual Learning Plan upon completion.  This signposts into a comprehensive range of Learning Resources which are used to fill the skill gaps each individual learner has.  Interactive, self-marking Skill Checks then provide evidence the learner is now competent in each topic area.  To bring absolute cohesion to the process, the new bksb Tracking and Group Profile Tool allows tutors and managers to access and query all data in seconds.  This whole process is managed through a simple, highly effective interface for learners and tutors.
