Introduction to Employment Legislation and the Role of the Manager

Overview

“Keep your staff, retain your learners and keep out of court!!”

Content

In the Sports and Leisure Sector, there is so much sector change that it is difficult to keep in touch with other legislation which is important to your organisation, staff and learners. Failure to recognise this and adopt relevant procedures can result in huge penalties from tribunals and court.

Aims and Objectives:

  • The types of legislation that can impact on management of staff
  • Relevant legislation that affects employed and unemployed learners

Booking an Event

We would be pleased to work with representatives of sports clubs, organisations to run this event locally to them. Costs start at £1290+vat for 12 delegates. Clubs or Organisations may invite representaives from otherlocal organisations to participate at a commercial rate. Indeed this option can often offset the cost of the training to the host organisation and even turn the event into income generating activity.
